2017-18 Odds & Picks To Win The PL Title

2017-18 Odds & Picks To Win The PL Title

The 2017-2018 Premier League starts on August 11. That’s not a lot of days from now. The favorite to win this season’s Premier League is Manchester City. At +180 odds, I can’t back Man City. Why? Keep reading to find out.

2017-18 Odds & Picks To Win The PL Title

2017-18 PL Title Odds
Club July 29
Manchester City +180
Chelsea +350
Manchester United +360
Tottenham +900
Arsenal +1150
Liverpool +1300
Everton +6000
Leicester +30000
Southampton +50000
West Ham +50000
Newcastle +55000
Stoke City +100000
Bournemouth +100000
Swansea +100000
Crystal Palace +100000
West Bromwich +100000
Brighton +150000
Burnley +150000
Watford +150000
Huddersfield +200000

The Oddsmakers’ Pick To Win The PL Title: Manchester City +180

The odds are too low on Manchester City to win the Premier League in 2018. Don’t get me wrong. With Fernandinho, Sergio Aguero, and terrific Nigerian player Kelechi Iheanacho, Man City has as much talent as any squad in the Premier League. I just don’t feel that it’s smart to bet on a team at less than 2 to 1 odds to win the deepest league in soccer.

There are all sorts of reasons why Manchester City should win the 2017-2018 Premier League. Then again, Man City was the favorites last season before Chelsea took home the title by an easy 7 points.

The Sharp Pick To Win The PL Title: Chelsea +350

Speaking of Chelsea, they’re offering +350 odds to win the Premier League. I wish I could look past this squad. I can’t. In June, Antonio Conte was shopping Diego Costa, Blue’s top striker. Costa and Conte have always had a rough relationship.

But, as of July 30, Costa is still a member of Chelsea. Is that good news? No…that’s great news! I know that Costa and Conte don’t get along. I don’t care. When Costa’s on the pitch, he plays his heart out.

The rest of last year’s Premier League Champions is intact. I don’t understand why their odds are lower than Man City’s. That’s okay. I’m going for it!

The Value Pick To Win:  Everton +6000

I know Everton should have no shot. Then again, Leiceister City won the EPL a couple of seasons ago. So, never say never. What I like about Everton is that they signed Wayne Rooney, the former Man U great. Rooney should help Everton be more competitive in the tough English Premier League. Rooney used to play for Everton. His homecoming could be special.

But, that’s not the only reason I like Everton. Everton is one of the few teams left with a chance to acquire Olivier Giroud. Giroud is one of the best strikers in EPL. If Giroud ends up at Everton, they’ll be an unbelievable bet at 60 to 1.

NFL HOF Game + UFC 214 + USMNT Gold Cup Shot = 🔥

Don’t blink because the ten days ahead are jam packed with sports betting action.

  • The US Men’s Soccer team faces Jamiaca for the CONCACAF Gold Cup.
  • Jon Jones faces Daniel Cormier in the UFC 214 headliner.
  • America’s team faces the Cardinals in the NFL’s Hall of Fame game in Canton.

Bet 5Dimes

On Thursday, August 3rd the Dallas Cowboys will face the Arizona Cardinals in the Hall of Fame Game. The Cowboys are 2.5-point favorites to win. If you are betting the moneyline then Dallas pays $100 on $165 while the Cardinals pay $135 on $100. The game total is 40.

UFC 214

All eyes may be on the upcoming Mayweather-McGregor super fight, but don’t blink on UFC 214.

UFC 214 takes place on July 29 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. The fight card is arguably the most stacked card of the year. The main event features a rematch between Daniel Cormier (19-1) and Jon Jones (22-1).

  • Daniel Cormier +225
  • Jon Jones -265

Jones won the first matchup by unanimous decision at UFC 182 and was expected to defend his belt against Cormier at UFC 200 before being forced to withdraw due to a failed drug test.

USA vs Jamaica CONCACAF Gold Cup Final Odds & Pick

Odds & Pick USA vs Jamaica Gold Cup Final

Jamaica upset Mexico this past Sunday to stamp their ticket to the Gold Cup Final. The Reggae Boyz meet Team USA in the final on Wednesday, July 26. Kick-off is at 9:30 pm ET from Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, CA.

The United States has 4 wins, 0 losses, and a tie in their last 5 matches. Jamaica is 3-0-2 in their last 5 matches.

USA vs Jamaica CONCACAF Gold Cup Final Odds & Pick

What: USA (4-0-1) vs Jamaica (3-0-2)
When: Wednesday, July 26, 2017
Start Time: 9:30 PM ET
Where: Santa Clara, CA
Stadium: Levi’s Stadium
Moneyline: USA -450 vs Jamaica +331
Game Total: 2
Watch: FS1
Stream: Fox Sports Go

Bet on USA because…

New manager Bruce Arena has been brilliant with his lineups. Arena brings Clint Dempsey, arguably the greatest player in USA Soccer history, off the bench. Dempsey has grabbed his new role and run with it. With Dempsey coming off the bench, USA can put a great, fresh, striker into the second half of every match.

Bet on Jamaica because…

Jamaica upset Mexico this past Sunday, July 23. The Jamaicans beat Mexico 1 to 0 in a game they were supposed to lose. How did the Reggae Boyz do it? I’m not sure. That’s why the win was so impressive. Jamaica played an incredibly patient game versus El Tri.

Expert Pick & Gold Cup Final Prediction

There’s history between these 2 teams. In 2015, Jamaica knocked the USA out of the Gold Cup Finals, and into the third-place game. The Americans should be fired up to make amends on Wednesday.

But, Jamaica beat El Tri on Sunday. Is that a reason to believe the underdog Reggae Boyz have a shot against USA?  I don’t think so. Mexico obviously looked past the Jamaicans in their big upset loss. El Tri already had their sights on USA. They didn’t play nearly as well as they usually do.

What it means to me is that USA, who hasn’t allowed a goal in 3 straight matches, takes it to Jamaica on Wednesday. I don’t see the Jamaican’s putting up to big of a fight.

I think Team USA beats Jamaica by a sweet 2 to 0 score.

My final Gold Cup Final Prediction is USA 2, Jamaica 0

CONCACAF Gold Cup

The top soccer squads from North & Central America and the Caribbean are battling it out for continental supremacy at the 14th edition of the CONCACAF Gold Cup. Mexico has won three of the past four Gold Cups. Team USA was responsible for breaking up their recent dominance.

At the time of writing Team USA is 0-0-1 after a draw against Panama. The American squad faces Martinique and Nicaragua this week.

Real Madrid Vs Juventus UEFA Champions League Final Odds & Pick

Real Madrid Vs Juventus UEFA Champions League Final Odds & Pick

So what he’s possible facing a five-year jail term for alleged tax improprieties, Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is set to lead is Real Madrid club into weekend’s Champions League Final in Cardiff, against Juventus and you could cash in big if you know which team will win the coveted championship. Besides, not even the most fanatical Real Madrid follower cares about the Portuguese phenomenon’s off-pitch legal woes at the moment.

Real Madrid fell to Atletico Madrid in the semis but still managed to reach the final stage while Juventus cruised past Monaco to reach the championship match. Real Madrid is a +140 pick to win the title while Juventus is a +187 pick. A draw between the two is listed at +240. Now, let’s find out what’s going to go down this coming weekend.

Real Madrid Vs Juventus UEFA Champions League Final Odds & Pick

What: UEFA Championship Final Odds
Who: Juventus vs. Real Madrid
When: Saturday, June 3 at 1:45 PM
Where: Cardiff, Wales, UK
TV: ESPN
Odds:
Real Madrid +140, Juventus +187, Draw +240

Why Bet on Juventus Odds at +187

The best reason to bet on Juventus is that they are the only team that managed to go unbeaten in the UEFA tournament. Juventus will also have some extra motivation from a historical aspect as they can also bag a sixth consecutive Serie A title this weekend and have already secured a place in the Coppa Italia final, giving the team an opportunity to pull off the rare treble, should it win both finals. The only Italian team to pull off the treble so far has been Jose Mourinho’s Inter Milan squad back 2010, so Juventus also has a trio of defensive superstars in Andrea Barzagli, Leonardo Bonucci and Giorgio Chiellini that can potentially subdue Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo and Madrid’s offensive-minded BBC line.

Why Bet on Real Madrid Odds at +140

Real Madrid is also looking to make some history after becoming the first reigning UCL champs to reach final since Manchester United did so back in 2009. The last repeat European Cup winner was AC Milan in 1990. Real Madrid is the fifth team to reach three different UCL finals in a four-year span. Another great reason to back Real Madrid is that they have an offensive-minded trio that can bury most teams in Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema and worldwide superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.

Real Madrid Vs Juventus Final Analysis

Real Madrid is the favorite to win this battle and will be many football fans’ favorites as June 3 approaches, but Juventus have the talent and depth to shock the world and upset Real in the showpiece final in Wales.

Euro Cup Game 1 in the Books!

Bet Soccer (European Football) at 5Dimes

 Poland vs. Greece

After the 2012 Euro Cup’s majestic and beautiful opening ceremony, the host country took the field to do battle with Greece´s national team.  Poland got off to a great start, getting 4 shots off on goal in the first 15 minutes of the match.  It was clear that the Polish were there to make themselves seen as they attacked the Greek defenders and passed the ball with great precision.  Poland´s #1 sticker, Robert Lewandowski, committed the first foul in the Cup.  He soon made up for it by scoring a great header into to lower left-hand side of the Greek goal, scoring the first goal of the Euro Cup with great style.

After receiving the first goal something changed for the Greek team.  They started attacking and moving the ball better than ever and pushed the ball across half field.  They seemed to have gotten faster and younger as they dribbled the ball around the Polish defenders.  They had a few good looks, but the Polish keeper came up big in the first half.  In the 51st minute, the Greeks finally got one through. Dimitrios Salpingidis scored off a rebound from one of his teammates. They had another chance, this time to win the game as the Polish goalkeeper came out to defend a 2 on 1, but fouled the Greek striker which earned the first red card of the Cup and a penalty kick for Greece.

Polish substitute goalkeeper, Prsemyslaw Tyto, came into the game with the huge responsibility of trying to stop the penalty kick that would, for sure, give the Greeks the win.  As Giorgos Karagounis approached to stick the ball, Tyto dove to the lower right post stopping the ball in its tracks and saving at least the tie for his team.  Poland had a total of 13 shots, 6 of which were on goal and Greece had a total of 8 with 3 on goal.  There were a total of 38 fouls, 22 for Poland and 16 for Greece. They also had 2 yellow cards and 1 red while Poland received no yellow cards and 1 red.  All this made for an exciting first game of Euro 2012!
